We will defend our Green Belt, agricultural communities and urban areas.
We will cut waste before jobs and vital services. Currently the Lib Dems are throwing money away on traffic calming measures that are not needed and often deeply unpopular with local residents. They wasted £150,000 on the Kenyons Lane traffic calming measures which could have been spent on filling potholes or protecting youth services.
We will maintain a Council Tax freeze and aim to cut Council Tax within 5 years. When the Conservatives controlled Sefton Council we had the lowest Council Tax rates in the UK.
Locally the Sefton Conservatives support the campaign for a referrendum on the UK's membership of the EU.
We will work with the Police and organisations such as Homewatch to fight anti-social behaviour and crime in our area.
We will cut unfair Town and Parish Council Tax precepts to give more money back to local people struggling in these tough times.

Unlike the Labour party, we cannot rely on unions for financial support. Therefore we completely depend upon donations from ordinary people to support our campaign.
£8.50 would pay for printing and delivery of campaign leaflets to four streets.
£22 would cover the cost of calling over 250 undecided voters and talking them through our policies.
£47.50 could pay for over 15,000 online adverts about our campaign.
£175 means we could survey 500 voters and pay for postage on responses.
Please donate what you can and help us fight for the change we desparately need.
